  There are many types of condensers that are commonly used most, vertical condenser horizontal condenser. Today, a simple comparison is made between the two kinds of equipment. The cooling water of the vertical condenser flows down the inner wall of the tube along the gravity, which can only be a single stroke, so a large amount of water must be used to obtain a sufficiently large heat transfer coefficient K. The horizontal condenser uses a pump to send the cooling water pressure to the cooling pipe, so it can be made into a multi line condenser, the cooling water can get enough flow rate temperature rise (Δ t = 4 ~ 6 ℃). So the horizontal condenser with a small amount of cooling water can get enough K value. However, if the flow rate is excessively increased, the heat transfer coefficient K value will increase much, while the power consumption of the cooling water pump will increase significantly. Therefore, the cooling water flow rate of the ammonia horizontal condenser is generally about 1 m / s, the cooling water flow rate of the Freon horizontal condenser is mostly 1.5-2 M / s.
